Starting with a boundary, my drawings unfold line by line. Each line guides the next. This process forces my hand to follow, requiring a total release of control over the finished product. The automatism subfield of surrealism provides a space for my creativity to thrive.

Bio
Holly's navigation of the world through the lens of science and art comes from her foundation. Being raised by scientists, artists and medical practioners has created a foundation for her evolution as an artist and scientist. As she seeks a PhD in Physics, the big picture goal to unite the art and science community. With a studio art and physics BA and BS from the University of Maryland, she now continues this journey at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont.
